The Meritens Spiral Tank is the solution to your temperature problems.
This machine loads at a homogeneous density between compartment and maintains this density using an airing system at each step, so that the fish reach the desired temperatures accomplishing the times of residence and using the least possible space.
- Live Chilling, Bleeding, Eviscerated, gutted re-Chilling.
- Its side-loading filling belt (with filling control) allows easy handling of the variability of the “upstream” and “downstream” processes, improving the performance by avoiding process intermittence.
- Its way of working is First in First out with coolant liquid in counterflow (Flow ice or RSW refrigerated sea water) so that its blades achieve moving the fish in an organized way, reducing cleaning times.
- Aeration system to re-circulate in each chamber.
